Hello fellow photographer!

My name is Kiko Fairbairn and I'm passionate about photographing places of unique beauty! Being able to travel, immerse myself in nature, and capture masterful moments of the natural world is what fuels me. Ten years ago, I decided to make this passion my life. And what a spectacular journey it has been since then! :)

I use my images as a starting point for a larger journey: to bring people closer to the planet we inhabit, to generate enchantment in the pause that photography demands, and to awaken in you the sensitivity to the art present in every detail of nature.

Sharing knowledge is one of my greatest motivations. I've had the opportunity to speak at events like TEDx São Paulo, Campus Party, as well as in various live streams, TV programs, and cultural gatherings.

My work has been published by institutions such as NASA, National Geographic, Scientific American, BBC, TV Globo, among many others. In 2016, I had the honor of winning the prestigious Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, held by the Greenwich Observatory in London.

Beyond my passion for landscape photography, I am one of the leading names in Brazilian astrophotography, and I believe that photographing stars is much more than just capturing the sky: it's about revealing invisible stories, awakening a sense of belonging, awareness, and fascination with the beauty of the night sky.

As experiências combinam paisagens, natureza e, conforme o destino, astrofotografia, Via Láctea, auroras e outros fenômenos naturais, aproveitando diferentes oportunidades ao longo da viagem.

Do iniciante ao fotógrafo experiente

A orientação é adaptada ao nível de cada participante. Dependendo da expedição, é possível evoluir fotografando com câmera ou smartphone, sem exigir experiência profissional prévia.

Da preparação ao pós-processamento

A experiência começa antes da viagem, continua com prática acompanhada em campo e, quando previsto na programação, inclui seleção, edição e pós-processamento das imagens produzidas.
